Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

These terms govern your use of the Founding Talent platform at foundingtalent.io ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. The service

Founding Talent provides software to manage clients, staff, scheduling, quotes, payments, and related workflows. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform: no unlawful content, no attempts to breach security, no reverse engineering, no scraping or bulk extraction outside documented features, and no use that interferes with other users' experience.

4. Your data & content

You retain ownership of the data and content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service. We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Third-party integrations (including Google)

The platform can connect to third-party services you choose to authorise, including Google (for Calendar sync) and Stripe (for payments). When you connect a third-party service you also agree to that service's terms. We access third-party data only as needed to provide the features you enable, and you can disconnect at any time from your account settings or from the third-party provider.

6. Fees & payment

Where the platform is paid, fees are shown at sign-up or in your account. Failed payments may result in suspension or downgrade. Taxes are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, pose a security risk, or are inactive for an extended period. On termination we will delete your data in line with our retention schedule.

8. Availability & warranties

The platform is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or related to the service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
